Matthew Rees says he is confident of winning back his place in the Wales side following his recent disappointments.

The hooker missed the majority of the Six Nations after being dropped due to a poor display in his country's opening defeat to Ireland and after falling down the pecking order behind Richard Hibbard and Ken Owens, he was ultimately overlooked for the chance to go on a second British & Irish Lions Tour.
Just to add insult to injury, Rees was then excluded from the squad for Wales' summer trip to Japan, leading to suggestions that his international career could be about to end.
However, after moving from the Llanelli Scarlets to the Cardiff Blues, he says he is feeling refreshed and is now focused on regaining his place in Warren Gatland's squad for the Autumn Internationals.
"For me personally, it's a case of getting back to where I was a couple of seasons ago in terms of playing," he told Wales Online. "I've got an opportunity with the Blues and I just can't wait to get the jersey on and start playing.
"It's only myself who is going to get me back in that Welsh squad. That's the challenge I am faced with."
